Handling Systems – Automation & Part Removal Perfectly Integrated Machines
Efficient Part Feeding & Picker Solutions for Injection Molding Machines
Our handling systems enable automated part feeding and removal, robotic operation, and the integration of complex gripper systems—directly incorporated into BOY injection molding machines. The freely accessible clamping unit, generous tie-bar and platen spacing, and ample space on the machine frame allow space-saving automation of injection molding processes without additional effort.

Intelligent Control & Modular Pickers
With the BOY Procan ALPHA® control system, handling systems can be operated seamlessly via freely programmable inputs/outputs or through the integrated handling control option – eliminating the need for a separate controller. Pneumatic two- or three-axis pickers positioned under the safety cover enable efficient removal of sprues or molded parts, including the use of suction cups..
Versatile Applications & Space Savings
Whether in cleanroom environments, packaging, weighing, or separating operations, BOY handling systems are designed to support production processes with minimal space requirements and high efficiency. Standardized interfaces allow the integration of complex automation solutions, making these handling systems a key component of any modern plastics processing machine or advanced injection molding automation concept.
Custom Part Removal Devices / Pickers
Pneumatic Integral Pickers available for:
| BOY XS E | BOY 20 E | BOY 35 E | BOY 50 E | BOY 80 E |
| BOY 25 E | BOY 60 E | BOY 100 E |
A wide range of customized part removal devices and pickers (two- or three-axis pickers) is available for BOY injection molding machines. These systems are typically positioned beneath the safety cover to save space.
Pneumatic integral pickers are used for:
- Removing sprues from the injection mold
- Removing molded parts (optional suction cups or other end-of-arm tooling can be used instead of grippers)
When using pneumatic integral pickers, the respective injection molding machine must be equipped with Option 12000 – Interface for Integrated Handling Control.
