The BOY XS E combines an extremely space-saving design with maximum precision. With a footprint of just 1579 in² and a clamping force of 11. 24 US Tons, it delivers tailored solutions for micro injection molding and sprue-free small-part production.
Its freely accessible two-platen clamping unit with diagonally arranged tie bars provides excellent access to the plasticizing unit, mold area, and ejector – making it perfectly suited for use in automated injection molding systems. Optional special clamping plates are available for micro molds from leading standard component manufacturers.
Advanced plasticizing & gentle material processing
The screw plasticizing system of the BOY XS E (diameters 0.31–0.71 in) operates according to the “first in, first out” principle, enabling injection pressures of up to 3,128 bar with minimal residence time. The 0.31in unit, in particular, offers clear advantages when processing sensitive plastics. With optimized process parameters and intelligent technology, the machine is ideally suited for highly precise micro injection molding applications.
Easy operation & Industry 4.0 functionality
The ALPHA 6 control system with its large 16:9 display provides modern visualization, intuitive icon-based operation, and advanced functions for maximum process accuracy and repeatability.
